Hi,
Joanne and I are going for a week for Wagner's Ring Cycle at the Met.
We are also going to play tourist and amateur gourmands.

Got a really favorite restaurant in Manhattan?  We would like to hear
about it.
Emphasis on *particularly good food*, and romantic setting.  I've
already perused Fodor's, but also appreciate personal recommendations --
any price range or cuisine.
CH-level appreciated, but not required (as I will bring my own "travel
kit").

Also got a favorite "tourist" spot?   Museum, gallery, science, browse,
shop (incl. hot), recreation.
