Okay, I believe you.  I have nasty clay soil, and do most of my planting in 
containers.  But I've been wondering if I could add composted cow poop to my 
compost bins.  Most of my composting work is done by worms, grubs and rolly 
polly bugs, would manure be okay to add as a layer after some green stuff?
