   your suggestion about cutting the skin sounds a bit ...
circumspect.
clearly there could be circumstances where this might be a good idea.
nonetheless, without seeming to circumnavigate the subject matter,
i wonder if the "rolling pin" myth may have been created to circumvent
the true meaning of "scarification" ?
undoubtedly, someone out there can circumstantiate these allegations
without too much circumlocution.
   we'll all be better off with a "Straight"-forward explanation !
