No, the recipie did not come from the sausage list .It came from a recipe
from the book by Diana Kennedy," The Cuisines of Mexico" which I modified to
be a usable recipe that most people can follow. Unfortunately many recipe's
in cookbooks and elsewhere if followed to the letter, will result in pretty
bad tasting stuff.I have made this many times and it does work.
