[CH] Organic bug spray

Hello fellow CH ers. Was watching a tv show today and they said that
bugs do not like thyme. they said to put thyme leaves in water to steep
and then strain it and spray it on the plants.
Another hint was that snails and slugs will not cross copper -
supposedly it gives them a little elecric shock. They suggested using
copper tape if you have raised beds or anything to hold the copper in
place.
Think that I'll give the thyme a try.
