[CH] weel-made chile powder

Can anyone supply a well-made recipe for dried chile powder?
I fail to find the right temperature and time of baking the dehydrated pods.
The result of pulverizing not baked, only dried, chiles is a powder fitted up with beatiful red colour but slightly too rich in wetness.
What do you think?
