Hi Mr. Flynn,

How are you this sunday? I'm doing fine.

Enschede is about 50 kilometers from Westervoort. I heard about the awful
news this morning. The newsfootage was on all day and when I saw it my jaw
dropped to the floor. I had never seen a scene like that here in Holland in
my time. It looked like a scene from a bombing in Kosovo or some other war
place. I really cried when I saw the devestation. But what made me angry was
the fact that the factory was right in the middle of the suburbs. 300 to 400
houses destroyed by the explosion. It was terrible to watch the footage. And
the show the bad side of mankind, people started looting after the windows
were blown out of the stores in the vicinity. Horrible. But up till now they
have 9 deaths, but you never know who lies under the wreckage, but looking
at the wreckage you would've expected more. It happened around three o'
clock in the afternoon, so I guess most people were out, luckily. But it was
just awful to watch.

Thanks for your sympathy for the people,

Miss Dewi
