Hi All...Just received the book I swapped with Elsa....Cocinas de New
Mexico.  It's a spiral-bound soft cover book with wonderful sounding recipes
from New Mexico; things such as natillas, panocha, verdolagas and other
things I have never seen, tasted or cooked.  This will be a wonderful book
to experiment with this summer when there are plenty of fresh tomatoes,
peppers and onions!

Also, as a love gift from my sister, I received a 2 CD set titled The Tastes
of Italy. It has not only recipes but customs, ideas, explanations of
manners and foods, scenes from restaurants and much, much more.  She thought
it would be a good idea in case the trip to Tuscany actually materializes
next summer.  My sister is a good friend....and we love to give one another
gifts.  I just presented her with a 3' tall rooster carved from wood by a
local chainsaw carver!  It's her birthday gift but I gave it to her early so
she can enjoy it in her garden this summer.
