They are an ancho type, mild with a great flavor.  I have grown them for a
few years.  They are fairly large plants with high yields.  Mature to red.
I buy plants mail order from cross country nursuries in New Jersey.  They

Yes Mark, that is what you read.  My understanding is that they have
sweet flesh and the inner ribs are where the heat it.  Supposed to be
great for roasting on the grill.  Apparenty HARD to locate.
