Your habs need to be in 20 to 25 L pot.
In good soil they will grow a tap root well over a M long.

Use a low nitrogen fertilizer, balance P as close as you can.

You could use kelp, But in a pot it really should be composted then added to
soil for best results.

Around here we have some "bottled" sea weed from "Coast of Maine" have no
concept of the distribution of this product.

I have seen some postings of composted kelp tea, I doubt if you could get it
composted fast enough to be helpful this year.
