The following was supposed to go to the whole list, not just one person
(sorry!)
Squirrels? I had a bunch of plants get eaten here in Chicago, but I thought
it was a rabbit or a woodchuck. Luckily, my sister's dog is staying at my
parent's house (where most of my plants are) now, and she's an avid hunter
(with speed enough to catch a squirrel that has a good 25 ft lead).
Guess this is also my intro to the Chile-Heads... I'm Justin, live near
Chicago, and am trying my hand at growing peppers for the first time this
year, after many years of consuming whatever the grocery store had (mostly
Jalapenos, although they also carry Dave's Insanity Sauce). In my mom's
garden I have a Habanero, Jalapeno, Poblano, and a couple varieties of sweet
peppers and tomatoes, and I have Thai Dragons and "Long Red Slims" from
Pepper Joe in pots on my back porch. Anyone know what "Long Red Slims"
really are?
