Tony Flynn and grandaughter called in for a couple of days on his trip
around Oz, It was really great to meet him in the flesh after years of
exchanging emails, seed, trans Tasman jokes etc..
Tony is probably in Townsville Qld by now and then on his way to Mt Isa
then over to Perth WA..
We miss him already..
Tony gave me a rather large care package of Orange Hab powder which I
will use to make an antipodean version of the bread and send around the
countryside as soon as I get the recipe right. I also got a jar of his
Red Jalapeno Jam This is quite good, I'm not sure if Tony has posted the
recipe but he probably will if asked to..
Tony just missed out on the 2nd Sawtell Chilli Festival by 1 week, (I
have to defend my hard won title again as last year I was the Innaugural
Champion..
