Made this in inspiration (or if you wish, total brain-death)
yesterday. I am normally no big fan of entrees with fruit, but this
was just one wonderful "mistake".

Needed leftover strawberry dessert:

1/2 - 1 dl sugar
1 dl water
1 vanilla stick
1 orange
1/2 lemon
1 lime - save the peel
1 litre strawberries
1-2 passion fruits

Boil water, sugar and vanilla. Add the juice from the orange, lemon
and lime. Cool off somewhat. Add sliced strawberries, passion fruit
and the lime peel. Rest for at least one hour.

Okay, this you would normally serve with some plain vanilla ice
cream, but could be used as follows...

1/2 filet of pork
1 small onion
Hab powder (not smoked, I used Jim's red savina)
Butter
White wine (or balsamic vinegar and water)
Strawberry dessert sauce as above
3 dl full cream
Green pepper corns

Just do it the standard way, brown the pork with onion and hab powder
in butter. Add some wine (or a dash of vinegar, just for the acid
balance), strawberry mix as above, green pepper corns and simmer.
Finish off with the cream and simmer some more. Serve with your
favourite potatoes.

Afterwards I learned that strawberries with green pepper corns is
some classic gourmet dessert. I am in no way a gourmet, neither for
sure a gourmet cook. But strawberries and habanero is a fine, fine
combo, with the green pepper corns adding a sensational aromatic
touch.

Modify and improvise as desired,
Yours,
Kristofer
