I do have the same experience with Chile Grande.
Two moths ago, just for experiment, I put only one single plant in a pot in
front of my office window.
I did do pollinate by hand going with my finger from the first to the next
flower and back, just to see what happens and at this very moment I'm
looking at a not to bushy plant with five fruits at the moment and more
coming.
