Once again, Jim, thanks for this unique opportunity to share in the results
of your work. I can't think of a comparable offer made by anyone else.

For those who haven't seen it, this is in an orchard with no camping
facilities whatsoever. If you plan on camping, expect to bring everything
you need. You need to take everything back out, too, there's no trash
facility.

If you're going to handle peppers, some kind of hand-cleaning setup like a
washcloth or wet wipes can be very worthwhile. This is Hab Immersion
School.

Aside from hotels, there are several parks with campgrounds in the
Bloomington area, not far from the field. I think these dates are too early
for the leaf-peeping crowds that fill the parks, but it may still be
difficult to get a park campsite. You should have a fallback plan.

Aw gee whiz, Jim. I have a blast cooking, but others also chip in. We had
fun last year on a windy morning, preparing various breakfasts and eyeing
each others' stoves. I plan to bring at least one grill, and a few
marinated meats. I'll probably bring my stove and stock pot to have another
mashbash in the open air - you think I want to cook that in my kitchen?

BTW at this event the participants tend to bring their own home-made
goodies, so you never know what you may get to sample.

>There is also (likely) a MAJOR surprise in store.

You mean the Great Pumpkin is going to appear this year? Allright!

Undertaking H2K preparedness measures,

- A
