[CH] Chili cookoff

There will be a non-sanctioned chili cookoff in Bonham, Tx on Sept. 23,
2000. We are just trying this for our first year and don't feel we will be
big enough to try for the sanction this year. We will not charge entry fees
due to this start up position, but we will be awarding cash prizes for best
presentation, best chili, hottest chili and other categories. The event
will be held as a fund-raiser for the Sam Rayburn House Museum, home of the
former Speaker of the US House of Representatives. We are located about 70

We hope this will be a fun day, we have an 1880's rules baseball game
planned and a celebrity auction...getting lots of goodies every day if you
know of a sports/music/political collector.
Pass the word if you know of anyone in the area who might like to join in
the fun!...as I said we are new at all this so we are really looking for
cookoff teams.

little chili garden!..but do have some good recipes I'll share for canning
peppers/salsa!)
