Today I am mourning the loss of some 30 Jamaican Red peppers. We
hadn't had rain for quite some time. Finally we did, and bye bye to
the pepper plant. I found the poor thing out in the garden looking
like some one got a piece of plywood and dropped it on the plant, with
the leaves stems and peppers laying on the ground in a perfect circle.
The 3 major limbs broke leaving them only hanging on by a thin
membrane of skin.

There is a few stems still attached to the plant with a few peppers.
So it looks like it is not completely dead. I still have one more
Jamaican red plant alive. My Hab plant is looking pretty bad as well.
But luckily I grew way too many peppers last year and have hab cubes
in the freezer so it isn't that bad.

I think it the plant would have been fine if I had grown it in a cage
instead of stakeing it up. Something I will remember for next year.

I was wondering If any one had any ideas on what to do with the 30+
green peppers I have now? Should I pick them off the plant? Maybe
hang them in my garage and hope they will get red?
