Charlie A couple factors, Ambient temp. at blossom set. Per Dewitt etc, Blossom set below about 75F Night temps high nitrogen. Carribean Reds, grown here were hot, but the were a very quick heat then over with. Like "flash in the pan" from musket days. Not impressed enough to continue growing them. Lord Byron
