[CH] off-color, yet again

Well, the Francisca Habs are starting to ripen.  One bush has 
the expected pale orange pods.  One has deep red pods.  I
picked one of the red ones and tasted a thin slice.  Good hab
aroma, decent flavor, but the heat was brief and not too im-
pressive.  I was disappointed,  so I took a big chomp...YOW.
Yes, there was real heat lurking there.  The four other plants
have yet to get ripe pods, will have to wait and see.

So far, of nine chocolate hab plants, I have two with pods
ripening to a deep, rich brown.  The three "white" habs are
not ripe at all, but one plant has pods very distinctly different
from the others.  They look similar to the Shiny Red/chinchi-uchu
in Peppers of the World (DeWitt/Bosland), page 74, only more
top-like with a bigger projection at the bottom.
