[CH] Open fields

For those planning on making the open fields-
It seems Tony George (Indy 500 owner) has had the ill manners to
schedule some sort of motor car race (Formula One) event for the weekend
of the open fields. As a result, every hotel room within the state of
Indiana is occupied. The several that I have tried to contact within a
50 mile radius of here about booking some rooms have all laughed
hysterically at me- the more so when I tried to convince them that I was
serious. As a result of his not checking with me first about trying to
upstage my previously planned event, the only rooms available in town
will be those at my house and maybe the neighbors house. This IS NOT a
problem for us, and I hope it doesn't deter anyone from coming. We can
sleep a fair number in spare beds and quite a few on floors if need be.
Of course, the majority of us will be camping in the fields ;-)
All is still going well. If you plan to attend and have not notified me
yet, please do so.
