Just a friendly reminder: tonight the 'early bird' rate for
registering to the Mid-Atlantic Biodynamic Food and Farming
Conference ends. If you are interested in attending the conference
and would appreciate a $25 per registration 'discount,' then, by all
means, please contact me as soon as possible.

I'll be posting more information about the conference to the list in
the near future, including info about John Trudell's 'heartspeak'
presentation on "The Nature of Power," Seeds of Change founder
Gabriel Howearth's workshop on using the BD preps and 'sonic
manipulation' to maximize germination rate and the vitality of
starts; the Glen Atkinson-inspired "Potentizing the BD Preps"
workshop, that features a taped presenatation by Glen himself, as
well as segments by Hugh Courtney and homeopathy great, Joe Lillard
(one goal of the workshop is to send every participant home with a
full set of potentized preps!); Friday night keynote speaker, Steven
McFadden ("Farms of Tomorrow Revisited") will present his view of CSA
being 'outside of the box but inside of the Sacred Hoop;" Dan Lynch
and Mark Trela's superb 'BD Viticulture' segment; A whole whole
discussion path on sustainable organic orcharding, featuring Gary
Puterka, inventor of the kaolin clay spray, and Michael Phillips,
author of Chelsea Greens' "Orchard Book;" Sally Fallon promises a new
presentation this year, this on on the way food processing processes
make nutrients inaccessible to our bodies; and Chef Peter Berley's
incredibly vibrant menues for this year's conference!! And, of
course, the BD wisdom of the combined Hughs: Courtney and Lovel.

The conference is held in Charles Town, WV, near Washington, DC. Some
more information is available at www.gardeningforthefuture.com

I really hope you can make the effort to come and spend the weekend
with us. I doubt you will ever forget it. The annual conference is
truly an amazing time at this amazing place.
