Hi All,

At 6.15 am Thursday morning I had just written to Tara and Karen. The
rain which had been falling all night turned to a thunderstorm.
I shut down but was too late as a lightning bolt brought down the power
lines outside my house.
One big bang and the power meter box blew to pieces, fuses blown out of
their sockets and all the telephone connections zapped.
It took most of the day to get the telephone and power restored and the
house wiring checked.
Then the bad news NO COMPUTER:-( I spent most of Friday waiting for a
mother board to arrive at my friendly computer dealer mate's place.
It arrived this morning so with a new power supply, mother board, modem,
ram. was all running. Arriving home and plugging in error message saying
no connection to keyboard.
As my dealer mate has gone away to visit family in hospital. Panic
around to find computer club member with a spare keyboard to loan me for
the weekend,

So I will catch up with my mail in time and meantime try to get some
ground prepared to start planting out summer veggies and peppers.
