Yes, Dan, they are beautiful moths.  My kids found a tomato hornworm in some 
weeds once and raised it in an unused aquarium.  They had lots of fun 
*learning* about life cycles, watching it grow, pupate, etc. and then hatch.

Not saying I'd want lots of these critters in my garden. ;-)
