They will survive,  just don't expect any new growth or pods.

If you are digging them up,  you might break the tap root,  if you do it
will affect next years growth.

I had a couple habs, in a greenhouse, soil heat was from horsemanure,  held
the soil temp at 50F.  The plants lived, nice green leaves, but grew less
than 2" in 6 weeks.

When you bring the plants in.  Watch for aphids.

over the winter. Would they survive in a cold basement with temperatures
around 50 or so degrees? How much light do they need (I would be using the
growlights I used to start them as seeds, there are no windows in my
basement). I was just wondering if I would be wasting my time.
