Hi Brad...Deep six the info from Cooking Club of America. It's not worth
the price. I belonged this past year and did not renew. You get an only
fair food magazine..Cooking Pleasures..every other month but that's about
all you get for the dues money. They boast over 100,000 members so, of
course, it's very unlikely you will get to test products and keep them, as
they indicate is one of their best perks. I received a little magnet and a
few recipe cards with my introductory package. Once they sent me a plastic
garlic peeler and a book I hadn't ordered and had to bother sending back
(they did pay the return postage). They will also send you a few reprints
of recipes...if you bother to write and request them...but who needs them
with a copy machine around if you don't want to snip it from the mag.

For the $24 dues you can buy a year of a really good food magazine such as
Saveur. That's my opinion for what it's worth.
