horse kaka, brother...a technology which has the *potential* to wreak havoc
upon the environment is nothing to blindly accept in the name of
"commerce/business"...no one, *no*one* can deny that genetic manipulation
of genes is a science where if a mistake is made, there is *no* recourse,
*no* means by which to "clean up" or "fix" said problem...

as for a "hungry world", it's simply not true...there's plenty of food in
the world...what's lacking is reliable transportation systems, reliable
governments (including the US), and thus reliable systems of distribution...

these arguments are tiresome...corporate propaganda is tiresome, if not
insulting to every person with a smidgen of intellect (and no stock in
biotech corporations...)
