I would guess that the seeds Tony sent you were probably pre treated with a
fungicide, hence the pink colour.

Subject: [CH] Serrano seeds

Hi Pods,

I've got an okay harvest for my first year and I have been saving seeds like
crazy. My questions are : I got my first Serrano seeds from Mr. Flynn. The
seeds were pink. But when I opened one of my peppers up the seeds were
yellow. Is there an explanation for that? Are mine not grown under the right
conditions? And some of my other pepper seeds look so wrinkled and like they
won't grow new plants or are looks deceiving? Please, can anybody answer
these questions? Thanks in advance and keep on eating the hot stuff.
