[CH] County Agents.

In an attempt to find help for folks, many
times I have suggested talking to their country agent.


Later I find the rules are not the same in all states.

In my state,  the county agent will help home growers, in the office, on the
phone or via e-mail.
And makes site visits to commerical growers/farmers.

In Contrast the State of Mass.  has only 2,  These folks only do
cranberries, period.

In some counties in TX,  They will help home growers,  In other counties
they only help commercial growers with  2 or 3 crops only.

I am trying to find some better info,  I know that the County Agent was part
of Abe Lincolns Land Grant for schools.

I would like to know if the was a Federal thing how can some one like
Dukakis shut it down..
