Kevin:

I live in Northeastern VA - Loudoun County - and have already started my
peppers seeds (1,500 last week; another 8,500 during the next month).
As they come up, they will be transferred to a friend's greenhouse to
maturity.

I plant according to the Stella Natura BioDynamic planting calendar (see
me off-list for info if interested). So, I plant pepper seeds on
"fruit" days, of which there are 4-6/month. This planting schedule has
allowed me to have incredible germination rates, in far less time than I
was used to. Peppers come up in 7 - 10 days.
