[CH] Possible Chile Patch

One of my wife's customers saw my meager Chile Patch and has offered me
the use of 2 and a half acres gratis for about 6 years, They plan to
build on the land in about that time. 
I'm hoping to look at it this week-end and maybe get a soil test done
shortly.
As we are going into Autumn down here in the deeper South, I probably
won't do anything much for a while.  If I decide to do something with
it, I'll be open to suggestions on ground preperation and planting.
As she is a teacher I'll probably have to keep it fairly organic and
pesticide free..
It's coastal (only inland about a mile) but relatively low..
If I take her up on the offer I'll probably make a financial offer just
to make it legal. Peppercorn "read" (Chile) rental. <G>
