[CH] Wegman's Today

I got to go to the new Wegman's Supermarket in NJ today. Thanks to Karen
Stober's directions, DH knew exactly where to go.
Did I have a ball. They had such a great amount of items there that I can't
find anywhere else, except Manhattan. I had fun, DH didn't because he had to
trail after our son. Oh well.
This is what I got, chile-related:
4 red jalapenos
3 green cayenne peppers
Melissa's Fire Roasted Red & Green Chiles - jar
Chile Oven Mitt - $9.99
I'll be using the fire roasted chiles in a chowder tonight.
They had so many things, these are the ones I remember to tell you about:
10 kinds of fresh chiles
6 kinds of dried chiles
salsas, galore
jarred chiles of all kinds
cans of jalapenos
Oh I was in heaven. I'll be back. In about 1-1/2 months. Have to use up what
we bought today.
Plus I got to eat some decent sushi with some fabulous wasabi. Love wasabi.
They also sold the wasabi peas in the bulk bins. Didn't get any though.
Maybe next time.
I'll be keeping a list for Wegman's like I do regularly for Costco and the
Health Food Store.
