I'l once again chime in and plug this event along with Jim.  This is a good 
time in a cozy old brick building in a cozy old brick downtown along the 
Ohio River.  On most years, the spring flower gardens around the old 
mansions are in bloom, and the redbud trees on the hillsides are starting to 
open.  The riverfront has a historical plaque marking The Most Historical 
Plaques on a Navigable Mile on the Ohio River East of Cairo.  Just kidding.

I plan to attend, and again attempt to grill - last year, we had severe 
thunderstorms that dropped about an inch and a half of rain.  You just never 
know with the weather in this part of the country in this part of the year.

If you favor camping, there's Clifty Falls State Park on the edge of town.  
If you're the superstitious type, you might even believe in the Clifty 
Hum...
