As a rule, do not pass on e-mail petitions. Why? They are impossible to stop.

Please see what's posted at the web site where the letter originated--back
in January of 1999.

in brief:
Chain Letter Announcement (January 10, 1999)
An unauthorized mass mailing recently went out to most UNet users
soliciting email to sarabande@brandeis.edu. Please do not respond in any
way; the owner of that address no longer wants the mail. Due to
unmanageable volume, the sarabande address has not been receiving email
since January 3rd 1999, and will never be a valid email address again.
postmaster@brandeis.edu will answer no more questions about this issue.
Please do not initiate or propagate chain letters. For some examples of
past chain letters, see ....

Now, to change the subject. Any chile-heads in Northern Utah, Southern
Idaho or Western Wyoming on this list? I would love to try to do a
hot-luck...
