Slipping out from the darkness of lurkerdom...

Without doubt I would have to say that my favorite tasting chile is cayenne.
After that would be Thai chiles or Chiltepin.  Habs have a nice flavor too,
but it compare to the cayenne for taste IMHO.  As for dried chiles, I love
chipotles, guajillos, pasilla and ancho chiles.  Not necessarily in that
order though.
