[CH] Reading Pepper Festival & chile choice

The 1st Annual Reading Chile Pepper Festival will be held this Saturday from
9:00 till 5:00 at the Reading Elks Club, which is at 2210 Hampden Blvd. in
Reading, PA I have a contact name of Gene Knoll and the phone # is
610-921-8584. There will be 11 vendors, including us. We will be sampling
Dysfunctional Family Style Chili, Bird & Bean Chili, spicy Texas BBQ, and
our two new salsa's. I hope to see some list members there.
As far as a favorite chile, it's got to be Serrano for all around flavor and
heat.(It's the heat for our salsa.) I grew one called Aji Omni-color last
year that is really fantastic and Aji Amarillo is great too. My chile bread
has the Omni-color powder in it.
