Hey everyone,

I was so happy yesterday!!! We (Emile and I) went shopping in Utrecht. After
a while we walked through a small street and I looked over and saw a little
Mexican store. First I hesitated but decided to go in anyway. Was I glad we
did! First we looked at some artwork but then I saw a stand with food items.
The lady had Mexican oregano she called it espace or something. She also had
dried chiles, chipotle and guajillo, canned tomatillos, chipotle en adobo,
poblanos and some more canned goodies. We saw some sauces too. We bought the
Salsa de Chile Chipotle from La Costena. Any thoughts on that one? She also
had some funny little wooden trinkets in the shape of an armadillo and a
ladybug. I looked up and I started shouting. I saw these cocktail somethings
with little red chiles on top! The glass sticks to stick olives on. I don't
know what to call them. We bought four. The lady was surprised to hear I
collected and grew chiles. With a big smile I left the store. Oh happy day!

My Siberian Indoor pepper is starting to bud. And the rest of the peppers
are getting huge! The Bolivian Rainbow is gorgeous. Tomatoes and tomatillos
are also getting big. So all in all it is going well in Casa
Wanders-Steenbrink.
