How did you get into Storm Chasing? What an interesting pastime.

		Hey, all.
I thought I'd put out a general plea for recipes
here. Some of you
know that I'm a storm chaser (focusing on lightning
photography), and also
teach several Indiana high school percussion sections.
Marching season is
under way now, meaning my typical schedule is get up at
5:30, leave for
work at 6:00, skip lunch, leave work at 4:00, drive 2ish
hours, teach a
rehearsal 'till 10:00, discuss the show 'till 11:00-12:00,
drive 2ish
hours, fall into bed. Then, of course, we get the
occasional storm, and I
end up leaving the school I'm teaching at arround 10:30,
search for a nifty
isolated county road 'till about 11:00, set up the cameras
and start taking
photos until about 12:00, when someone with bright
headlights parks in the
middle of the frame and asks if I'm OK, then procedes to
tell me about the
tornado he saw during the palm sunday outbreak, until about
1:00 (withought
turning off his headlights, of course). Then I get home
arround 5:00,
appease my cat, and spend 15 minuts wondering why I'm so
insane.
Obviously, I need to eat in the car.

Traditionally, I do OK through April with PB&J and some
fruit. But it's
gets really boring really quickly. I'd like to be able to
make a variety
of quick foods I can eat while driving on sunday, and be
able to just grab
out of the fridge/freezer what I feel like for that day.
Also, hot
(temperature-wise) food could be good from time-to-time. I
can always stop
to use a microwave where I get gas. Or I might put one in
my car... But
the main goal is to be less boring. Incorporate some chiles
other than the
occasional Jalapeno jelly, maybe some curry type flavors,
some different
		textures... etc.

Does anyone have any nifty recipes that can be eaten fairly
easily in the
car, and store/reheat well? Preferably without spilling all
over myself ;)
