To get rid of cats get a dog. To keep the birds off the cherry tree buy cheesecloth and a fake owl. Cheesecloth gets draped around the tree top to bottom, put the owl on a stand or tree next to the cherry tree. The owl scares off most of the birds that see it and the cheesecloth keeps the rest from reaching the fruit and still allows plenty of light. ChesterChile
