If it goes to seed it will grow anywhere and everywhere.  We planted some 
Dusty Miller in a front yard flowerbed close to the sidewalk.  Now Dusty 
Miller is growing under the neighbors' shrubs, in sidewalk cracks, all up 
and down the street!
