The only way I eat raw garlic (that's not mixed in a salsa or such) is to
rub it on freshly grilled bread, and then drizzle with olive oil (possibly
chile infused) and salt.  If the bread is just right, it acts like
sandpaper, and you can sand off a hole clove on one slice.
