I was reading in Nature today that some scientists have found a way to
genetically alter tomato plants so that they can now grow in salty soil,
the leaves keep the salt and the tomatoes remain normal, that will help so
many people to be able to eat! For all you people out there afraid of GM,
the entire metabolic pathway for cap is know, all the key enzymes are
identified, it only takes a scientist who wants to have some fun and prove
he can do it to make a super super hot chile so he can blow his chile
eating friends away. It will come, either as a real commercial application
or for just fun but one day they will be here, you wont be able to hide
from it and you can shoot everyone that you dont agree with.
