[CH] Newsgroup Confusion

I subscribe to a number of Newsgroups including a bicycle group & was just
browsing the headers in Outlook.

One of the headers reads "Windproof Pants", and I automatically assumed it
was a Chileheads posting. Does this indicate a warped mind or do other
chile-heads find it as funny as I did?

On the subject of warped minds, we have a Footy Show (Rugby League) on TV in
Oz. They have a panel of six ex-spurts (drips under pressure). Last week an
audience member donated a plate of Habs and invited the panel to eat them.
Being ex-footballers & very brave (read stupid), they had to prove their
manhood and eat them, seeds & all. These guys probably eat at the local
Indian restaruant and think Mild is hot.

I didn't realise it was possible for men's faces to go that red, they were
dressed in suits and not one of them had a handkerchief, their eyes were
watering then their noses started to run, before anyone could get them
tissues they were wiping ther noses on their sleeves, then studio staff came
to the rescue with glasses of water, which only made it worse. These guys
don't realise how dumb that little game was, two of them were close to
either asthma attacks or cardiac arrest. Of course the audience thought it
was great and wanted a repeat this week.

Back to lurking & smirking.
