I grew them a couple of years ago, and had a few discussions with my
wife and other qualified judges on what the pods resembled. One of
the questions we had was whether the peppers were meant to resemble
the entire organ or just (sorry if this is indelicate) the inner
parts. There was a lot of variation in pod shape from pretty normal
looking ones to some that were rather contorted and infolded (as you
might expect).
Now if we could get it into the light and Rael would take his tongue out.....
