I recall seeing a statement about either BB or Red Savina, not sure
which, or where, that said in effect trading/giving away for
non-commercial use was ok, but commercial use/selling required
licensing. Aha, it was Cross Country Nurseries
http://www.chileplants.com/list.htm

**Cross Country Nurseries is a licensed grower of the Red Savina (tm)
Habanero Pepper (PVP 9200255). Transplants are provided for the home
gardener. Seeds from these peppers can not be legally saved to sell to
others. You must plan to use the peppers for your own use.

Doesn't mention trading. Probably doesn't apply to Biker Billys,
either. Afaik it won't do them much good. BB is an F1 hybrid and won't
breed true.

Red Savina, otoh, is a mutant and will breed true.

Both my RSes and BBs are doing great, btw! Just starting to get ripe
Savinas--very hot. The BBs are still green, but tasty and hot and we're
looking forward to some ripe red BBs soon!

Cheers,

Riley
