Tammy and I will be there again for our 4th year in a row. I have a new
digital camera, so look for lots of pics afterwards that I'll post to the
list. Ironically, the young woman who has watched our children the past few
years and has heard us rave about the festival and enjoyed a gift from
Bowers each year is going to be joining us this year, so we may be bringing
our kids along this year. In either case, we'll still have our portable bar
mixing Bacardi Limon, Sprite and Lemon Drop peppers again this year.
Two questions: Will Mark's brother Rich be there and will Doug be there to
defend his title?

In about a week and a half the Bowers Chile Festival will kick off in
eastern
Pennsylvania. How many folks here plan to attend? If recent years are any
indication this one ought to be huge! Attendance has been increasing every
year since we started going back in '98. Is Doug going to defend his title
in
the jalapeno eating contest?
