Mine were a nice lemon yellow when they finally ripened.

Fellow Chileheads,
   This is going to sound like a really dumb question but how yellow do
lemon drop peppers get when they are fully ripe? The reason I ask is because
I have 6 beautiful lemon drop plants that are full of greenish-light yellow
peppers and they have been that color for over 2 months.Do they get a bright
yellow when they are completely ripe? The night time lows here in western
Wisconsin have been in the low 40's to mid 50's.I'm wondering if that's why
they haven't fully ripened yet. Thanks  Baker R.
