[CH] Bowers, Hot Luck, and Chili Cook-offs

I expect to be in the same place as the last two years at the Bowers
festival. For the first timers, it's a 10x10 pop-up with a yellow banner
that reads "Better Than Hot". I'll have samples of new products on a first
come first serve basis. Karen seems to be the only one that may not be
available for group photo's, but for the rest, do we want to set a time?
Maybe after the jalapeno eating contest??
I'll be defending the chili cook-off title with my Dysfunctional Family
Style Chili again, and my partner Lew is whipping up a secret batch to
compete this year, too.
We did pretty well last week, as I finished third in the PA State
Championship and on Sunday there was a huge CASI event in Hanover PA where I
finished third again and Lew did one better to take second. A father/son
team used our chili spice mix and won seventh and sixth. (A nice promo for
our stuff.)
The Hot Luck is coming together, but again, if anyone is still mulling it
over....
