[CH] hunger...the mother of invention

Here's what I made tonight...was starving after the gym and just
didn't want to go out to eat (cuz i probably will tomorrow, i.e. i'm
a cheap/broke bastard), so i rummaged and chopped and flung in a pot
with the application o' heat...

I put in the pot:

about 2 1/2 cups water
one chic bullion cube cuz i knew i wuz throwing in chix
about 1 breast, cooked chicken, diced/sliced fine
about 1/2 medium yellow squash, de-seeded (was old <g>), diced/sliced fine
1 can cannellini beans
approx 1/2 tsp ground cumin
approx 1/2 tsp chili powder
approx 1/8 tsp gran. garlic
a couple chiles (kind in vinegar usu. found in Asian markets...)

brought to a boil, simmered for about 5 minutes (damn hungry), put in
my trusty braun hand mixer thingy and pureed it all to hell. added
salt to taste and thought it needed more work but i was about to pass
out from hunger, thus grated some sharp cheddar (is there any other
kind of cheddar?), poured my soup/sauce/concoction over said cheese,
spied some torilla chips in the pantry, crumbled up a handful of
those as well, thus in the bowl, and now, i'm belching and feelin'
purty damned good...

in all honesty, this tastes as if it may be closer to a sauce than a
soup, like an enchilada sauce of sorts or something along those
lines...mebbe a wannabe tex-mex sauce for a soft shell taco or a
burrito...like it matters, eh?

regardless, it's hot, pretty damned healthy, and is in my stomach
cooing ssoftly, asking for more of it's kind to join it, become one...

i dare not disappoint...

Peace, Hendrix, and Chiles.......

where's my nipple cream?"64
