[CH] Tolerence, and chiles.

I hope the past week reminds us that we are the nation to lead the way
in tolerance of different nationalities, religions, sexual preferences,
handicaps, etc. What was destroyed was the WORLD Trade Center.
Unfortunately, these attacks on Muslims, especially in Texas, disturb me
greatly, and remind me that the radical right in this country need to look
at themselves a bit deeper.

I know I probably don't need to do this, but I want to remind all of you
that peppers, and cuisine,, are the result of long cultural development in
different parts of the world. Those cultures give us other things in the
arts and sciences as well.

Love of chiles is a way of reaching out to different ways of looking at
food. Maybe we can approach our future in the same way.
