Fred,
My friends in Jaipur (Rajastan) are Vegetarian. I will send them an e-mail
with your question anyway and we'll see what comes back. When being in
Jaipur, most of my meals are normally at homes with families - never had a
really spicy meal there.
Tamil Nadu and Kerela are the states where I have had the hottest food in
India, as well as some small places in Bombay.
I'll let you know as soon as I have an answer back. Till then,
Eruna
